Help
I had McAfee installed thru my cable company & a month or so ago I started having issues with Mcafee's secure search tool bar & I started getting errors that said it had 2 rootkits in the toolbar. So I tried to uninstal McAfee & all its componets it all uninstaled but the toolbar. I installed AVG, now I have the same problem with AVG. I called my cable company this morning & they said it should be a pretty easy fix but I need a tech to help me. I'm not tech savy. Can some1 plzzzzzzz help?

AVG is saying you have two rootkits in the toolbar or is something else occurring?

If you're having trouble uninstalling McAfee's toolbar, please go to the Malware Help board, read the announcement at the top and the pinned posts within, then start a new topic with your HijackThis log in it. PLEASE make sure HijackThis is running from the correct location for Windows 7 and you run it as an administrator.
