For the last couple of days I have not been able to login to my profile in yuku communities using my PC Windows7 64bit IE9 However I can using Google Chrome on the same PC

I have a Netbook with Windows XP IE8 that I have no problem logging in to yuku with.

It seems to me that something has been changed to prevent me from doing this . I did have my Grandson here and wonder if he has altered something. Any ideas please ?
Regards. Ann

Have you contacted Yuku support about the issue? They are probably better able to troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks Judy for your reply. I have contacted them now. Given that they are not always the quickest to reply and you always are I thought I would ask here first. :P I will let you know what they say for anyone else that has had this problem.
Kind regards. Ann

You're welcome Ann and thanks. I tried looking on the Yuku knowledgebase and support forums for an answer, but all I get are white pages over there today.

There is an issue going on at Yuku the last two days. I believe they were suggesting people clean out their cookies/temp files , it may have worked for some , but not most of the people having white pages . There was a similar problem some months ago that Yuku determined that certain internet providers hadn't flushed out their cache (which they do on a regular basis) and that was causing the problems . I suspect Yuku is looking into something like this . ( don't get the impression that I know what I'm talking about  :P ) But this did happen awhile back and I believe Yuku is trying to find a common denominator .

Our engineers are currently looking into reports of white pages. This is not affecting all members.

If you have been on Yuku today and yesterday and have viewed a decent amount of pages (e.g. at least 50 or 100) and you have not experienced any white pages, please post here to let us know.

Thank you.

I don't know why I would have been experiencing it because I don't belong to any groups on Yuku so it shouldn't have been a temp file/cookie issue. I also have a dynamic IP that is changed on a regular basis by my ISP. Haven't gone back to check if the white page problem is gone or not, but I couldn't pull up anything over there at the time I tried to check for Ann.

We received reports of members and visitors encountering intermittent white pages across our network this weekend. Our technical team has worked tirelessly until the issues were resolved. As of 1:30 am EST on Monday February 20th, no more white pages should be encountered while browsing Yuku communities and profiles.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you all for your patience while the problems were being worked on.
Yuku Team

So, it was something on their end. That makes more sense than blaming browser caches and the end user's DNS settings.

hello again. Yes this morning the problem had been resolved I am pleased to say .The reply from the ticket I submitted to them was answered with simular messages as MaDDoG has put such as clearing my cookies I had stated in the ticket that I had already done that and a clean up of my PC that I do on a regular basis so Yes Judy they seem to be putting blame on members not an issue at their end.

Thanks to you both for your replies.

Kind regards Ann x

Well shortly after I couldn't get signed into Yuku Groups , I was able to . I've worked behind the scenes (not lately ) with Yuku for a couple of different things (notifications etc. nothing real important) and I think they wanted help tickets submitted so us members could help them speed up the process , thats why they ask questions like what browser , operating system , internet provider your using so they can find something common .
I think Yuku does a pretty good job of fixing things (y)
