Many of you who have been with us since our years on MSN remember that we had a monthly "Member of the Month" designee. The person chosen for that honor was one who was a standout, either in helping other members, making newbies feel at home or posting an excellent tip or trick for our computers or dealing with MSN's groups software.

We've noticed that we have some members here who are doing the same wonderful things, so we have decided to resurrect the MotM award in a different incarnation. This new recognition will be called the Community Feedback Appreciation Award. It will not be awarded monthly, although we have a good candidate pool right now, so it may be awarded more frequently at first. And, as it was on MSN, former MotMs and management are not eligible.

And with that, we would like to present our first ever Community Feedback Appreciation Award to Ally.

Ally recently posted a valuable "tip" on the General board regarding speeding up Firefox. In addition, she isn't afraid to pitch in and help on other issues and is a frequent friendly contributor on our Off Topic board.

Please join us in congratulating her.
