Sorry to interject on an old thread, but if one is using IE8, there is a setting within the browser called "Compatibility View".

Personally I leave it on as a default since I have XP and IE8 so it could be different to others.

To access the setting, Go to Page, Compatibility Settings and tickmark beside "Display all websites in Compatibilty View". Afterwards, hit the Close button and then close all browser windows. Then try again.

Of course, I'm out of touch with the world so WTH do I know!!

Not yet. I'm still waiting for the developers of the arcade to release a version that is compatible with the new forum software.

Re the Compatibility View in IE 8... That is for older sites that don't render correctly in IE 8. After the upgrade, our problem will be that the site won't render correctly in IE 6 and earlier browsers. It will render just fine in IE 7 and newer browsers (including FireFox, Opera, and Google Chrome).

Yes, it will work with Safari too.

The developers have finally released a beta version of the arcade. I haven't played with it yet, but at least they're making progress.

Thanks for the possible slow down warning Sir Jeff. So far everything on main forums is fine, havent ventured to the arcade and don't think there's time now today
