Quite often, new posters to the forum will ask for help and often describe the problem adequately, sometimes not, and we have to go through a long process, often lasting days to squeeze the information from the poster (like getting blood from a stone at times, lol).

Recently, there have been a lot of posts that miss out some important information that we may need to research and identify where the problem lies.

To assist us, here's just some of the information often required to help you:

Operating System: Win98, XP, Vista, Win 7 (32 or 64 bit)
Amount of RAM installed
Make, Model and variety of computer: Desktop, Laptop, Netbook
Browser: IE6/7/8, Firefox, Opera, etc. (used when the problem occured if needed)
Name of Anti-virus installed
Name of Firewall used
Names of anti-malware used
Problem program (if needed)
Problem description and when/how occuring

We would appreciate any help you can provide regarding the above to help us to solve your problems quickly. If you don't know all of this information, don't worry, we're still here to help you, but including as much as you know can help tremendously.
